Studie EUCLID (Ticagrelor versus Clopidogrel in Symptomatic Peripheral Artery Disease)

Studie porovnávající účinnost ticagreloru proti clopidogrelu u nemocných se symptomatickou ischemickou chorobou dolních
končetin během 30měsíčního sledování ukázala, že ticagrelor není superiorní ve smyslu snížení kardiovaskulárních událostí,
pouze bylo pozorováno snížení počtu ischemických iktů. Velká krvácení se vyskytla ve stejné míře v obou léčebných režimech.

The EUCLID Study (Ticagrelor versus Clopidogrel in Symptomatic Peripheral Artery Disease)

In patients with symptomatic peripheral artery disease, ticagrelor was not shown to be superior to clopidogrel in the reductionof cardiovascular events during a 30-month follow-up period; the only significant difference between the groups was in the rateof ischemic stroke. The rates of major bleeding were similar among the patients in the two trial groups.
