Emergentní echokardiografie u infekční endokarditidy

Echokardiografie je metodou volby pro diagnostiku infekční endokarditidy (IE) a hraje klíčovou roli v léčbě a monitorování těchto pacientů. Echokardiografické vyšetření je nutné provést ihned při pouhém podezření na diagnózu IE.

Emergency echocardiography in infective endocarditis

Echocardiography is the technique of choice for the diagnosis of infective endocarditis (IE) and plays a key role in the management and monitoring of these patients. Echocardiography must be performed as soon as IE is suspected.
