Specifická alergenová imunoterapie u dětí

Specifická alergenová imunoterapie je jedinou účinnou kauzální léčbou, která může změnit přirozený průběh alergických onemocnění

a navodit vznik alergen-specifické imunologické tolerance u dětí i dospělých. Je vysoce účinná u protilátkami IgE mediovaných onemocnění,

jako je alergická rinokonjunktivitida, alergické astma a u pacientů se systémovou anafylaktickou reakcí na vosí nebo včelí

jed. V současné klinické praxi je používána aplikace podkožní a sublinguální. Podání alergenu může být spojováno s lokálními a někdy

i systémovými vedlejšími reakcemi. Vývoj alergenových vakcín ve formě kapek nebo tablet pro sublinguální aplikaci otevřel novou

epochu pohodlnější a bezpečnější formy imunoterapie, především u dětí.

Allergen-specific immunotherapy in children

Allergen-specific immunotherapy is the only effective causal treatment that can modify the natural history of allergic diseases and

induce allergen-specific immune tolerance in children and adults. It is highly effective in IgE-mediated diseases as in allergic rhino-

-conjunctivitis and allergic asthma and in patients who develop systemic anaphylactic reactions to wasp/bee venom. In current clinical

practice immunotherapy is delivered either subcutaneous or sublingually. Allergen administrations may bee associated with local, and

in some cases, even systemic allergic side-effects. The development of allergen vaccines in drops and tablets for sublingual application

has opened a new age of more convenient and safer form of immunotherapy, in children above all.
